"Choose people who lift you up" - Michelle Obama

Michelle Obama is an American Lawyer, writer, and First Lady of the Unites States. She is married to the 44th and current President of the United States, Barack Obama. Not only is she an inspiration to many fellow humans but also a role model. She is as lively and confident as someone can be. According to her, being smart is the coolest thing than anything else in the whole world.
Being smart here also includes choosing your group of people you want to hang out with. And trust me on this point, the more wisely you chose your friends, the more you are likely to improve and become a better version of yourself. Rather than giving you negative vibes, they instead push you up to work on achieving your dreams and goals. You never know that one friendship might affect your mindset so much that 'you' that have been laying on the couch the whole week might get up and work on your goals. These people would teach you to make right decisions, have self-control, have time management and with all this, relish every moment of your life.
There's this saying, ' The moment you realize your worth, you can't stay with people who don't.' So, follow this saying and you'll just know which people are the ones.

“Don't let the muggles get you down.” - JK Rowling

Image result for mugglesThose who have read Harry Potter must know who the muggles are. But, let me explain the word 'Muggles' to you again. Muggles are the non-magic people, who are scared of magic. They don't have a drop of magical blood in their veins. Okay, now let's come to the real world.
In the real world, muggles are the senseless people who try to put you down. They'll demotivate you and not give you a bit of respect. Although remember, they do all this because they are scared that you'll turn out to be better than them.
Show them that no one can hide our special qualities, our strengths, and our superiority. If we bow to them, we will never find ourselves. But, if we stand up to them, we'll find something inside us that is beautiful and astonishing. So, don't let these bullies put you down because it's not worth it.

"To the man who only has a hammer, everything he encounters begins to look like a nail." - Abraham Maslow

Image result for 9. To the man who only has a hammer, everything he encounters begins to look like a nail.
Here, the hammer is referred to ' Dedication' and the nail is referred to ' Goals'. We always want to become this or that. But, we don't really see the steps that take to reach the goal. In a way that's good because that shows that we have to ability to make people laugh at our goals, but we don't want to keep them laughing, do we? We have to prove their laugh wrong and show them what we are capable of. And once we have set that zeal in ourselves, nothing can come between us and our goals. Not even a slice of pizza. ( If you know what I mean :P ) So, let's set our minds and hearts! Take a pen and a paper and note all our goals! And start proving people wrong!

“If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way.” - Napoleon Hill

Have you noticed how people are always encouraging you to go great things? Example, in my case, my grandfather really wants me to become an IS officer and this way every morning I get to answer 'yes' to a question. " You will become an IS officer right?"
People will expect things from you, people who you love, people who love you, people who you hate and people who hate you. These expectations soon become our burden. Oh, I have to study for maths. Oh, I have to read the newspaper. Oh, Oh, Oh. This continues until you give up and start over. Then again the same story repeats.
The word 'Great' doesn't really mean being the President or an Astronaut. It means being yourself and bringing out the best in yourself in everything you do. You can be an expert in digging out stuff from the internet and that's what makes you great in that field. You can't build a building in just an hour, you need to properly lay the bricks and yes, it will take some time, but it will fulfill your dream and bring a smile on your face. And that's what matters.

“The best revenge is massive success.” - Frank Sinatra

Have an enemy? Want revenge? I have got an idea. Why don't you kill him? That way he will never ever come in your way ever, right? But, then you would be sent to jail and then your reputation and life will be ruined. So, rather than planning ways to kill him, why don't you improve yourself and show him that you are better than him. Don't show him your plans, show him your actions. Don't use words, use achievements. This way you can really get to him and then woof, your revenge is taken. See, putting yourself down for your enemy doesn't sound good, does it? Well, it isn't good. So, why not make your weaknesses your strengths and show him that you have no time for fighting with him because you have got goals you've got to accomplish and achievements you've to make. Just let him go with a smirk.

"In the middle of every difficulty, lies opportunity" - Albert Einstein

Why do we finish our tasks ( home works, assignments, presentations, go jogging for an hour, etc. ) ? Aren't they tiring, boring and difficult? We finish them because we know that there is an opportunity to learn something more, to impress someone important, to prove to someone something. We finish these tasks for ourselves. Yet, there are some people who don't even try to finish them, and according to my dictionary, they are called ' lazy people who have no goals in life'. Why wouldn't anyone want to seek for an opportunity in their field of interest ? Either they are not able to work ( some or the other reason ) or they don't want to work. While, it is totally up to you. No one can make you a lawyer or a footballer! People can only guide you, you need to take the steps yourself! And if you are still not sure about the field of your interest, go explore different things! The world is enormous and definitely made for traveling. Still not sure? Get help. Haha, not a doctor. Meet a career counselor. I am sure they can help you with whatever doubt you have about your life. Don't run from difficulties, because the more you run, the farther will your destination be.You need to stop and think. Just sort all you things and maintain a dairy in which you'll write all the tasks you need to finish. And then see, how fast opportunities come running to you.

“May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears.” - Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela is an inspiration to half the world. He taught us to believe in ourselves when no one did. This quote symbolizes that you have to make choices based on your hopes and not your fears. What if you dreamt of becoming a pilot, but you are afraid of heights? Then what would you choose, overcoming your fear and achieving your dream or becoming someone you didn't want to be? People can only guide us, but the steps are needed to be taken by us. We have to decide which road to take.

'Two roads diverged in a wood, and
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.'

The above quote is a part of a poem, the poet Robert Frost wrote. He exactly clarified what I am trying to explain. Overcoming your fears is the 'less traveled road' and becoming someone else is the 'most traveled road'. Choices are a very important part of our life. One choice can make all the difference.
