"Don't waste your time with explanation, people only hear what they want to hear."

We often complain about the shortage of time, when we are only the victims of wasting time. We are always giving explanations to people even when there is no need and then when they don't listen to us, we get into a belief that they are still mad as us. We are amazing at wasting time, trust me. We can find unlimited ways to waste time. But, just for a second think about what what you could have done in that 5 min. you wasted explaining some nonsense to someone who doesn't give a damn to you. People are stubborn and selfish. We never listen to something we don't desire or would like to hear. When you say ' I didn't see that magic trick because I was late to the party.' It is clear that you were late to the party so then why do you have to say ' ... I had to wash my hair and then my mom wanted me for some work and .....' That person is not really interested in knowing what you were doing in your life before or after the party. And don't take me in the wrong way because sometimes when your higher authority asks you for a explanation, don't go and say that I read that we shouldn't waste time on explanations. That time you will have to give an explanation to your boss, teacher, mom, dad, etc. So, use your time efficiently.
